To create a new meeting point to generate and share knowledge through collective reflection on areas affecting Barcelona from an economic and social perspective. With this objective, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce has inaugurated the new exhibition space Today Tomorrow, located in its central offices on Avenida Diagonal, to learn about various aspects from a didactic but also operational point of view.

The 300-square-meter space, located on the ground floor of the Chamber's building, debuts by focusing on Formula 1, with a two-day cycle. In them, the present and future of F1 at the Montmeló circuit will be addressed, in full struggle to keep it within the championship, as the current contract expires in 2026.

Organized with the collaboration of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the cycle will include two sessions on the strategic role of this event in areas such as innovation, mobility, tourism, and cutting-edge engineering, with the aim of addressing how F1 contributes to the revitalization of the territory, technological transfer, and the international projection of Catalonia.

The first of the sessions, scheduled for this Tuesday, will focus on the transfer of knowledge from technology applied to F1 to the automotive industry, with a round table featuring the CEO of Hispano Suiza, Sergio Martínez Campos; the team manager of Monlau's motorsport department, David Simon, and the communication director of RACC, Josep Maria Miret. The second, on May 22, will analyze the Circuit's contribution to the economic development of the territory, with the CEO of Circuits de Catalunya and general secretary of the Ministry of Business and Labor, Pol Gibert; the general director of Fira de Barcelona, Constantí Serrallonga, and the director and honorary president of Moventia, Miquel Martí.

Like the F1 sessions, each topic addressed from the new center will be open to all types of public, from students to companies and the general public, as the objective is to connect ideas, sectors, and diverse voices from the business, academic, and citizen world to delve into key factors in the transformations of society.
