The American technology company Dataxstream has chosen Barcelona to lead its business and expansion in the rest of Europe, as well as in Africa and the Middle East. The company, specialized in software for optimizing complex orders, has landed in the Catalan capital with the forecast of creating 30 jobs.

Dataxstream, which has had the support of the Government agency ACCIÓ to establish itself in the city, has already opened its first European office, located in the Eixample. "The city and the territory have a lot to offer: the technological ecosystem is strong, the universities are of international prestige, and we are impressed by the diversity of profiles and the level of local talent," said Jean-Jérôme Peytavi, president of Dataxstream in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The expansion that this opening in Barcelona represents for the company responds to the "growing global demand for more efficient services of this type of solutions," and the desire to get closer to SAP computer system clients to offer its product in this region of the world.

In this sense, Dataxstream develops a software platform directly linked to SAP aimed at optimizing the execution of multichannel sales, in order to simplify complex order management and accelerate sales processes.

The company, headquartered in Williamsburg, Virginia, and Buenos Aires, also offers advisory and consulting services, and provides complementary artificial intelligence and machine learning services. With a global workforce of 90 employees and 25 years of experience, the company will accelerate its growth and detect opportunities through its new Barcelona office.
