The Innsomnia accelerator arrives in Barcelona with an office to boost financial innovation between companies and startups, with the aim of having a greater presence in one of the most dynamic and promising technological and entrepreneurial ecosystems in Europe. Innsomnia projects born in Catalonia represent 25% nationally and almost 10% internationally, and highlight emerging companies such as Zänk and Hubtype.

The company, specialized in finance, insurance, industry 4.0 and smart ports, wants to promote the Catalan capital as one of the main European cities in attracting talent and entrepreneurship, especially in the financial sector. Specifically, it will do so by strengthening the international network The Talent Route, the first to unite fintech and insurtech hubs and already has 17 accelerators worldwide.
Innsomnia's commitment to Barcelona coincides with the sixth edition of Bankia Fintech by Innsomnia, a fintech acceleration program in Spain, which will be open to receive applications until November 30. Since its first edition, the presence of Catalan initiatives, especially from Barcelona, has been constant and, at least, one Catalan startup has been selected each year.
