The Palau Güell once again celebrates summer nights on its rooftop, the traditional summer event that allows visitors to discover Antoni Gaudí's jewel with live music, a glass of cava, and privileged views. In the heart of the Raval, attendees will be able to learn about the work that gave rise to the fruitful relationship between the Barcelona architect and the industrialist and politician Eusebi Güell. Completed in 1888, coinciding with the Universal Exhibition, it became the patron's new residence for almost twenty years, before he moved to the house in Parc Güell. Furthermore, it was the only one Gaudí was able to see in his lifetime and where he first used his famous parabolic arch and the trencadís, which invades the terrace, already hinting at his imagination.
Visitors to the nights of Palau Güell will be able to enjoy the urban palace in its fullness, without missing the spectacular rooftop where Gaudí conceived even his chimneys as architectural sculptures. This event has become one of the most special and unique of the summer in Barcelona. Every Thursday in July, at 8:30 PM, an exclusive visit to the Palau can be made and live music can be enjoyed in a magical setting. Each evening includes a concert offered by an emerging band with different styles: from the most jazzy sounds of Alba Armengou Quartet and Eva Fernández Trío to the most danceable rhythms of Catalan rumba by Set de Rumba or the charm of soul by Koko-Jean & The Tonics.
Before the concert, in an exclusive guided tour, visitors will be able to explore the most relevant spaces of this urban dwelling that Güell commissioned from his friend Gaudí. The property, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1984, stands out both for the innovative way in which the Barcelona architect conceived space and light, and for the excellent quality of the noble materials used and for the decorative and ornamental work of the artisans who collaborated.

This rooftop is a fanciful setting, with the conical spire that crowns the Palau, its bat, and the twenty chimneys that surround it, some of them magnificently clad with the technique of thetrencadís.
