If this summer is being a record-breaker at El Prat Airport, company forecasts indicate that 2025 will also be. Singapore Airlines has already announced that it will increase direct flights between Barcelona and Singapore for next year's summer season.

The airline plans to increase from the current two weekly flights at Barcelona Airport to five weekly flights next summer. These frequencies will be operational between June 24 and September 7, 2025.

Framed within the gradual recovery that El Prat is experiencing in its connections with Asia, Singapore's flag carrier indicates that the planned expansion responds to the "growing demand for air travel to various popular destinations." The airline will also increase frequencies from Singapore to Rome, Milan, and London for next year's holidays.
