The latest phenomenon in the fashion world lands in Barcelona. After its resounding success in Madrid, with long queues for days, the Chinese giant Shein will open a pop-up store this week in the Catalan capital.
The pop-up store will be located in Portal de l'Àngel, at number 15-17, and will open from this Thursday, June 30, until Sunday, July 10. Ten days in which fans of its online products and discounts will be able to see them in person, although they will not be able to take them home and will have to wait for the package to arrive.
Opening hours will be from 10 in the morning until 10 at night, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays they will open later, at 12 noon, and close at 10 at night. On the first day, Thursday, June 30, there will be a special schedule, opening at 10 in the morning and closing at three in the afternoon.
Shein has partnered with the Swedish bank Klarna for the opening of these physical and ephemeral establishments, without giving up its online sales strategy. After Madrid and Barcelona, the fast-fashion brand plans to open pop-up stores in more European cities, between June and August. It has already done so in Lisbon and Paris.
