The LVMH group strengthens its presence in Passeig de Gràcia. Sephora, one of its major international brands, has just opened its third flagship in Barcelona on the iconic luxury shopping avenue, a 500-square-meter establishment ---plus 300 meters of warehouse--- which joins those it already has in the city center in El Triangle and Rambla Catalunya.
The premises are located on the ground floor of Casa Mulleras, a protected building by Enric Sagnier, next to the Loewe store, which in the past had been occupied by the Tenorio restaurant, between Consell de Cent and Aragó. According to Sephora, it is a new store concept that prioritizes the consumer experience and merges in-person shopping with the online world. Thus, at the entrance of the store, customers will find lockers to pick up, within two hours, purchases they have made online.
In addition to this Click & Collect service, Sephora has conceived with this new store "a temple of beauty" that allows the brand "to continue innovating, because innovation is part of Sephora's DNA," explains Mónica Cigognini, general director in Spain. "Barcelona is a very special city for Sephora, where our stores have always been very successful, and now we are opening this store that perfectly complements Sephora Triangle, our first flagship store, and Sephora Rambla Catalunya. Due to its location, Sephora Passeig de Gràcia is aimed at a very transversal and international public," explains the executive.
Because it is a protected building, Sephora has had to adapt the store to different architectural elements, such as the back patio, which provides light to the interior of the establishment. In addition to the online purchase pickup service, in Passeig de Gràcia Sephora offers a facial treatment cabin, a personalized fragrance consultation service, a niche fragrance and author perfumery area, fragrance personalization with engraving service, a gift area, two makeup and eyebrow grooming stations, and an area for hair treatment products.
