The human resources solutions company SD Worx has opened a new headquarters in Barcelona to continue boosting its growth. To strengthen its expansion strategy in Spain, it has opened new offices in the city center, with 900 square meters, which replace its old offices in the Catalan capital.
The new offices in the city "not only represent a physical expansion, but also symbolize the continuous commitment to attracting the best talent and creating innovative solutions," according to the general director of SD Worx Spain, Carlos Pardo.
Since Pardo took office in 2021, the company has increased its workforce nationwide by 500 employees, including engineers, consultants, and technology specialists. Now, the company aims to double its workforce in Spain in the next three years, further boosting its growth and the solutions it offers around human resources management.
These solutions cover procedures and processes such as payroll management, talent attraction, hiring, compensation, and employee development. The company, headquartered in Belgium, does this through various channels, including the use of software, outsourcing of services, consulting, and data-driven information, and now wants to strengthen its position from Barcelona: "We want to continue consolidating our position as leaders in the human resources sector in Spain and Europe."
The new office in the Catalan capital incorporates advanced technology and sustainable solutions, in open spaces designed to promote collaboration, teamwork, and innovation, while also boosting employee productivity and well-being.
The company has accompanied this growth with strategic acquisitions, such as those of Integrho and SoftMachine, which have allowed the company to expand its service offering in the area of payroll and personnel management. The company currently operates in 150 countries and has 82,000 companies as clients. SD Worx has 7,000 employees in about twenty countries, and closed 2023 with a turnover of 858 million euros in consolidated revenue.
