Professional certificates are a very good option for companies when it comes to hiring highly qualified professionals, since all of them include a training period in the company or business.

Companies contribute to the training of people who are pursuing a professional certificate by hosting them for an internship period and, in this way, can recruit the talent they need, especially in sectors with high demand for qualified professionals.

Modular and flexible training

Professional certificates are structured in training modules and function as a type of subject in a course. This makes it modular, flexible, and cumulative training, which also allows access to training cycles. In fact, most of the time a professional certificate validates parts of a vocational training cycle. If the academic requirements to access the training cycles are met, the person can enroll and, having already obtained the professional certificate, will have a good part of the training validated.

Professional certificates can be taken throughout the year through the SOC's own centers (the CIFO), collaborating entities of the FPCAT System, as well as in vocational training centers of the Departament d'Educació. The SOC website has a course search engine with all the available training offers.
