The inner ice of Permagel, Eva Baltasar's novel, now melts on the stage of Espai Texas. The theatrical adaptation, directed by Victoria Szpunberg and with dramaturgy shared with Albert Pijuan, focuses on the experiences of the characters and their way of relating to desire, everyday life, and the idea of death.

The proposal, co-produced by Dagoll Dagom and Barc, opts for a minimalist set design that reinforces this inner gaze. A set design that causes the weight of the play to fall especially on the performance of Maria Rodríguez Soto, who brings to life a woman with suicidal urges who goes through different stages of her existence that have marked her, from frustrated university studies to precarious jobs or failed personal relationships, as if this inner ice that runs through her were melting and opening as the story progresses.
