Barcelona residents have a new option this year to order their Sant Esteve cannelloni. At number 337 Muntaner Street, near the Galvany market, La Botiga dels Canelones Crossandra has just opened, the first establishment in the Catalan capital for this Osona company, which produces more than 12,000 cannelloni a day in its workshop in Vic.

Crossandra was born more than thirty years ago, but not ascanelonería, but as a pastry shop in Sant Julià de Vilatorta that also made the leap to Vic. In this establishment, they started selling cannelloni, and in the end, this product became a sales success, to the point that in 2010 the company decided to open the first store specialized only in cannelloni. They make them in many varieties, such as the traditional meat ones, but also duck confit with caramelized onion, fish and seafood, cod with raisins, mushrooms, vegetables, chicken with eggplant, spinach, and even an innovative variety of breaded cannelloni. In 2015, Crossandra decided to abandon its traditional pastry business to focus solely on cannelloni and now owns two stores in Vic and one in Granollers, to which the Barcelona store is now added.
