This year she won't come home during the day. She won't linger in bed while 'The Blue Danube' plays. Dinner won't drag on too long, nor will she have to spend hours cleaning dishes from friends and acquaintances. On this first New Year's Eve, a little more accompanied, she will finish the latest from Sorogoyen or leaf through a book to feel that she is fulfilling the resolution to 'read more'. All of it, without making too much noise. While everything explodes out there, something smaller moves within.
