Fundació Catalunya Cultura has just opened a new call for applications to participate in the IMPULSA CULTURA Program, which seeks to optimize the management and sustainability of cultural initiatives developed in Catalonia that have not been part of the two previous editions of the program. The deadline for submitting applications is February 5.
The Impulsa Cultura program has created a community that continues to grow and now includes 220 cultural projects with enormous potential for collective impact. It is a free annual training, mentoring, and acceleration program that provides participants with resources to help them review, analyze, and improve fundamental aspects of their cultural projects.
An evaluation committee will be responsible for selecting the participating projects, according to its selection criteria. The four phases of the program will begin on March 14 and will run until November 30. The 10 finalist projects will compete for the IMPULSA CULTURA awards, and one of them, chosen by a jury made up of professionals with a recognized trajectory in the cultural and business fields, will receive the IMPULSA CULTURA 2023 award, endowed with 10,000 euros. The Award will be presented on October 17 at La Nit de l'Empresa i la Cultura.
According to the foundation chaired by Eloi Planes and directed by Maite Esteve, IMPULSA CULTURA is an extraordinary opportunity for entrepreneurs of cultural projects. The key contributions of the program are based on training and advice in essential areas for the consolidation of projects ---offering 72 hours of in-person and virtual training--- and the collaboration of more than 40 expert professionals in different subjects who participate in the four phases. It also allows entrepreneurs to attract business interest and public entities, as well as increase the visibility of projects through the foundation's corporate channels and other external channels.
The project Muntem un Festival was the winner in the 2022 IMPULSA CULTURA edition. ''The Program has helped us to have a very broad perspective of everything that implies having success in a cultural project. It has given us a vision of many areas: from impact to value proposition, passing through sponsorship or how to request funding,'' highlights Aileen Morrissey, Creative Development Director of the winning project.
