News in the communication sector in Catalonia. Entrepreneur Guillem Carol has created a new brand to group the different companies that make up his business group. Thus, Must Media Group was born with the main objective of giving transversality to the business and positioning itself as a reference communication group in the Catalan market, creating synergies between all its companies: the agency Giny Comunicació, the production company Incís Films, the strategic communication consultancy Platea Consultants, and the digital newspaper The New Barcelona Post, in which he took a majority stake last October.

The new group, which has more than forty professionals and a global turnover of more than three million euros, wants to offer its clients integral communication, from the strategy definition phase to execution. To achieve this transversality, all the group's companies have moved to new corporate offices on Paseo de Gràcia in Barcelona.

The objective of this integration is to provide global, efficient, innovative communication that, above all, adapts at all times to the needs of brands. "What differentiates us as a group is that, beyond having a global vision and being able to provide an integral service, we have a 100% digital approach," assures the president of Must Media Group, Guillem Carol.

The group has recently signed Adrià Barrio, from Lavinia, as general director and plans to continue incorporating new talent into the company in the coming months.

"The New Barcelona Post is an independent medium that is committed to quality journalism with the aim of adding and contributing to making Barcelona a leading city in the world. We join Must Media Group with the hope of being able to consolidate our digital newspaper and undertake new projects that help us create this positive communication space and increase the audience and notoriety of our brand," explains Sergi Saborit, director of The New Barcelona Post.

The digital publication about the good news of Barcelona, which has a double edition in Catalan and Spanish, has reinforced its content in recent months, with the incorporation of new collaborators such as Genís Roca, Agnès Marquès, Jordi Cabré, Maria Sisternas, Jorge Mas or Josep Lluís Sanfeliu, who complement other regular contributors to the newspaper such as Bernat Dedéu and Francesc Soler.

For its part, Giny Comunicació is a communication agency created and integrated by digital natives. Its clients include companies and entities such as Fira de Barcelona, Proactiv Entertainment, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Avançsa, Fundació Lluita contra la Sida i les Malalties Infeccioses, Barcelona City Council, Karibou, ByPillow, Spanish Video Game Association, Fundació Bofill and Fundació Carulla, among others.

Incís Films is a production company focused on television programs, commercials and documentaries. Among its current outstanding projects, it is in full production of the musical talent show A2Veus, which will be broadcast this summer on TV3, and the fourth television season of Ofici de Viure, presented by journalist Gaspar Hernández.

Finally, Platea Consultants is a strategic communication consultancy specialized in innovative and disruptive projects. The team is made up of experts in different fields to provide specialized service to the client.

The first event as Must Media communication group will be next Monday, May 16, at Casa Seat in Barcelona. It will serve to premiere the first podcast of The New Barcelona Post: Moments Estel·lars de Barcelona, a series of interviews with protagonists and witnesses of some of the recent episodes that have made Barcelona an international reference in fields such as design, culture and entrepreneurship. Journalist Toni Aira will be in charge of conducting these talks, which will have Juan Antonio Samaranch, elected vice president of the International Olympic Committee, as the first guest.
