With this appointment, the company aims to reinforce this brand positioning as a leading international retail brand.

Likewise, 20% of its sales come from the online business, through the platform that gave rise to the firm, which is digitally native, with the sale of mugs with motivational messages to encourage people to face daily life positively. That is, its success responds to the creation of gift and decorative items that, through messages and slogans, reflect a way of understanding life that spread happiness and joy.

Manuel Jadraque arrives at Mr. Wonderful replacing co-founder Patricia Cabal, who has been at the helm of the company since its inception. Cabal, a shareholder of the company, will maintain a position on the board of directors.

Manuel Jadraque takes the reins of the gift item brand founded in Barcelona in 2011 by graphic designers Ángela Cabal and Javier Aracil.

In the last three years, Jadraque has served as CEO of the footwear firm Pikolinos. Previously, the executive was CEO of Jennyfer ---owned by Celio--- and, between 2004 and 2015, he worked for Desigual, where he became CEO between 2012 and 2015, as the right-hand man of the founder, Thomas Meyer. Jadraque has also worked in the operations and purchasing area of luxury companies such as Louis Vuitton and Loewe.

Another of Jadraque's responsibilities at the head of Mr. Wonderful will be the management of the network of own stores, a business that the firm started in 2019, with strong expansion. In just two years, the brand has 33 own establishments in Spain, with a special weight in Madrid, where it has 13 stores, compared to the two it has in Barcelona.

Founded in 2011 by the graphic designer couple Ángela Cabal and Javier Aracil, Mr. Wonderful is based in Barcelona and has more than 120 employees at its headquarters on Avenida Diagonal. The latest available data put the company's turnover at around 30 million euros. In 2017, to finance its growth plan, Mr. Wonderful allowed the Realza Capital fund to enter its shareholding.
