Marc Aleixandri (La Ràpita, 1996) explores fashion as a political language, living archive, and tool of resistance. Trained in Fashion Design at BAU, Barcelona, and with experience as a patternmaker and member of the creative team at Palomo Spain, he founded Aleixandri Studio in 2025, an independent studio from which he combines research, technical construction, and visual experimentation to explore identity, gender, and forms of representation.
His creative practice is characterized by the construction of narrative universes in which excess, humor, and theatricality coexist. The project is committed to artisanal and local production, using dead stock, industrial production surpluses, and re-signified pieces. Through on-demand production, he seeks to avoid unnecessary accumulation and reclaim the value of materials, techniques, and the stories they contain.
In February 2025, he presented Violetas at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, where he received the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award. That same year, he debuted at 080 Barcelona Fashion with In Nomine Heretica. In 2026, he returns to the Barcelona runway with a new proposal, in which he continues to develop his own language between fashion, art, and performance.
