ass from being a car drivers' club to a mobility club. With this roadmap, Josep Mateu begins his second term as president of the RACC once the electoral process has concluded, in which no alternative list has competed. His main objective in the 2021-2024 period is to transform the RACC into a Mobility Club, that is, into an entity that helps people who travel using multiple means of transport and not just the car. Bicycles, scooters, public transport and shared transport now also fall within the scope of the RACC's action, without forgetting citizens who choose to walk.

The new board of directors accompanying Mateu, made up of 16 people, has been strengthened with the incorporation of Mercedes de Pablo, who was director of Port Aventura and is now an entrepreneur and independent director, and Marta Domènech, manager of Hotels Priorat. They replace Juan Loscos and Maria Àngels Vallvé. Immaculada Amat (Amat Immobiliaris), Ferran Conti (HaciendasBio), Agustí Cordón (Anantara Ventures), Pedro de la Rosa (former F1 driver), Albert Esteve (Esteve), Joaquim Folch-Rusiñol (Corver/Titan), Iñaki González (IG Business Consulting), Inka Guixà (La Farga), Manuel Puig (Puig), Germán Ramón-Cortés (Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera), Genís Roca (RocaSalvatella), Alfonso Rodés (Havas), Juan Antonio Samaranch (GBS Finance) and Juan Torras (TG Asesores) continue on the board.

"We want to anticipate new needs with services and projects that help people, companies and society face changes in the way we live and move," says the RACC. The new mandate will also be marked by knowing how to face and weather "successfully" the challenges posed by Covid-19; and sets as objectives to promote generational change among club members, continue to be a benchmark in the field of motor sports, and make the advantages of digitalization available to members. The Senior LAB, a unit focused on older people, will also be promoted.
