The Catalan executive Josep Maria Recasens will assume, starting next June 17, the executive direction of Indra, one of the most strategic companies in the Spanish industrial and technological fabric. His appointment comes at a particularly relevant time for the company, marked by its growing prominence in the fields of defense, digitalization, and advanced industry. Until now, Recasens served as Chief Strategy Officer of Renault Group, in addition to presiding over the automotive employers' association ANFAC, from where he has promoted some of the major debates on industrial transformation and the electrification of the sector.
An engineer specializing in Industrial Organization from the University of Girona and with an MBA from ESADE, Recasens has more than two decades of experience linked to the automotive industry. Before his time at Renault, he developed a large part of his career at Seat, participating in areas of corporate strategy and business transformation. His profile combines industrial vision, international experience, and management capacity in change processes, factors that now land in an Indra immersed in a new phase of growth and strategic repositioning.
