While awaiting the realization of the large audiovisual hub that is to reactivate the Tres Xemeneies, Sant Adrià de Besòs continues to add projects, and it does so very close to the old thermal power plant. Inditex will build new offices to relocate the central services of the Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Oysho, and Lefties brands. Currently, they are located in Tordera.
With the new Inditex Campus, the textile firm plans modern facilities that will group product design and development, pattern making, commercial management, e-commerce, and window dressing. Inditex emphasizes that the new buildings will ensure an integrative design with the environment. The fashion group reports that the project is being finalized in coordination with the Sant Adrià City Council and the Generalitat.
With the relocation, the company will free up space in the Tordera-Palafolls logistics platform, with plans to make new investments to expand its capacity. In addition to the future headquarters in Sant Adrià and the facilities in Maresme, the textile company has the central headquarters of Stradivarius in Cerdanyola del Vallès and the logistics center of the same brand in Sallent. Among all brands, Inditex has 170 stores throughout Catalonia and employs 8,500 people.
