About twenty renowned gastronomy professionals will gather next Tuesday, March 8, International Women's Day, to participate in the second edition of Gastrodona. The event will bring together women from Catalan cuisine and restoration, as well as businesswomen, producers, and manufacturers, in front of the stoves.

There will be seven hours of live cooking and pastry-making ---with preparations, demonstrations, and talks--- leading up to beer pairings, which can be followed via streaming on the Gastroevents online YouTube channel.

This year's edition has increased its participation to 20 professionals, with a wide variety of proposals for all types of interests, which are a source of learning.

The day will feature interventions by chefs such as Ada Parellada (Semproniana restaurant, Barcelona), Carlota Claver (La Gormanda restaurant, Barcelona), Eli Farrero (El ventador restaurant, Barruera), Martina, Clara and Carlota Puigvert (Les Cols restaurant, Olot); pastry chefs Gessamí Caramés (co-presenter of the Cuines de TV3 program) and Roselyn Costantino (Escola Culinària Tequierococinar, Barcelona), and sommelier Meritxell Falgueras (Celler de Gelida, Barcelona), who will pair the dishes prepared throughout the day with Damm beers.

Also present will be Patty Torres and Berta Argenté, heads of She Bistro, a social project that, through cooking, trains and employs women victims of gender violence, incorporating them into the labor market in their own catering establishments.
