Glovo enters the ranking of the 30 most valuable brands in Spain. The ultra-fast delivery and food delivery platform, which has just been acquired by Delivery Hero, is ranked number 20 in a classification led by Zara, Movistar and Banco Santander. The brand of the company founded by Oscar Pierre and Sacha Michaud has reached a value of 648 million dollars (567 million euros), according to the calculation made by the consultancy Kantar.

Glovo thus expands the number of most valuable brands in Spain that are managed from Catalonia ---one third of the Top 30---, along with Naturgy (No. 7 in the ranking), CaixaBank (13), Mango (17), Catalana Occidente (23), Estrella Damm (26), Banco Sabadell (28) and Seat (29). In addition to Zara, in the Kantar Brand Z ranking there are four other brands from the Galician group Inditex, of which three also have their headquarters in Catalonia: Massimo Dutti (10), Bershka (11) and Stradivarius (14).

All of them have increased their value in the last year, except Sabadell. In this sense, CaixaBank, which has completed the integration of Bankia and has implemented its brand throughout the unified network, is the company that has seen the valuation of its brand increase the most, with a growth of 48%, climbing three positions in the ranking, with a total of 1,733 million dollars (1,519 million euros). Seat is another of the brands that has registered the highest growth, with an increase of 27%.

The combined value of the top 30 Spanish brands climbed 11% in 2021, rising from 88.420 billion dollars (77.387 billion euros) to 97.786 billion dollars (85.588 billion euros), although their valuation is still 6% below that of 2019, meaning not all that was lost during the pandemic has yet been recovered.

There have been no changes in the top ten positions of the Top 30; in fact, it has remained unchanged since 2018. On the contrary, there have been three new entries in the rest of the table. In addition to Glovo, which has jumped to the twentieth position, Mutua Madrileña (22) and Meliá (27) debut in the ranking.
