Amid the noise and the news of a world that seemed completely lost, Barcelona found a small crack of light: a refuge lasting just a few days, made of colour, where the noise of the streets became eloquent and reality was transformed into a gentle dream.
La Mercè. A moment when time stood still within a procession in perpetual motion: a dance of giants, devils, children, grandparents and imaginary creatures, all walking together, merged into one.
There was no yesterday, no tomorrow. For a brief moment, they remembered what it meant to be happy.
