The Festes de Gràcia 2026 return from August 15 to 21 as one of the most popular events in August in Barcelona. With a poster designed by Pol Lupiáñez Ortega and journalist Vicenç Sanclemente as town crier, the Festa Major will feature nearly 900 activities for all audiences.
Key dates include Saturday 15 with La convidada dels Gegants, the Diada castellera on Sunday 16, and the awards ceremony for the Concurs de Carrers Guarnits, which will take place on Wednesday 19 at 6:00 p.m. in Plaça de la Vila. In addition, this year the quiet night on Monday 17 is maintained to promote neighborhood rest, homage will be paid to the centenary commissions of Providència and Tordera, and a scavenger hunt dedicated to Gaudí's legacy will be organized on Friday 21.
The musical and cultural program will be one of the great drivers of the neighborhood, led by Festigàbal (August 15 and 16) and the concerts of Plaça del Folk, which will feature groups such as La Cosina, Germà Negre, Pepet i Marieta, Ebri Knight, and Trèvol.
The offer is completed with the Fira d'Artesans in Plaça de la Virreina and Plaça del Diamant, the gastronomic space Tasta Gràcia in Jardins de Manuel Torrente, and the traditional guided tours of the air-raid shelters in Plaça del Diamant and Plaça de la Revolució. These festivities will transform the neighborhood into a showcase of popular culture, live music, and community.
