A step forward for Eurofragance to continue positioning itself globally in the fragrance sector. The Catalan multinational has expanded its plant in Rubí with an investment of ten million euros, through which it expects to triple the production capacity of the factory. And the Rubí plant is the company's main center: the production carried out from the plant represents half of the company's total annual global production.

With this investment, the multinational company dedicated to the production and commercialization of fragrances for international brands has incorporated new facilities and dosing robots, which allow for advances in technological innovation and process automation. With these, the company will optimize the production of its fragrances, and will respond to the growing demand from markets in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. With these improvements, the plant has automated 80% of the processes carried out there.

The investment will not only allow the factory to grow in technology and production capacity, but it will also enable the company to boost product categories beyond fine perfumery, which require a high volume of production and can now be driven with the new facilities.

Apart from this ten-million-euro investment, Eurofragance's activity goes far beyond Rubí. Currently, Eurofragance has five creative centers, located in Spain, Singapore, India, Dubai, and Mexico. In addition, it manages its own factories in Spain, Singapore, and Mexico, and has production partners in China and India.

2,000 square meter expansion

The expansion in Rubí, covering more than 2,000 square meters, includes the remodeling of offices and laboratories, with the aim of fostering a work environment that is "more modern, efficient, and pleasant," according to Eurofragance's Chief Operation Officer, Clara Mena, at an event with the Minister of Business and Labor, Miquel Sàmper; the mayor of Rubí, Ana María Martínez; the president of Eurofragance, Santiago Sabatés; and the CEO, Laurent Mercier.

In parallel, this expansion has boosted the creation of specialized jobs, from operators to technicians and engineers, aligned with the growing automation of production processes, which will continue to enhance Eurofragance's business as a supplier of fragrances to brands ranging from fine perfumery to personal and home care, including ambient.

Eurofragance has expanded its plant in Rubí coinciding with the company's 35th anniversary. Founded in Barcelona in 1990, in these three and a half decades it has consolidated itself as one of the main multinationals in the fragrance sector. With a turnover of 180 million euros and a workforce of more than 500 employees worldwide, the company is committed to continuing to grow from Rubí with this expansion.
