Elha Laser Center accelerates its growth. The Catalan laser hair removal company plans to open 50 new owned centers throughout 2025. The new establishments will join the 150 it already has in Spain and Italy, which include 25 that opened their doors during 2024.
Through its centers, all owned by the company, the company founded in Girona in 2015 billed 26 million euros last year. Ten years after its launch by Jorge Fernández and Azahara López, the company employs 450 workers and has more than 600,000 clients.
Now, Elha will continue to boost its internationalization plan in Southern Europe, with a main focus on Italy, with the aim of consolidating its market. However, the company will begin to explore the possibility of entering new European countries.
The company steps on the accelerator in its national and international expansion after the investment fund Adapta Capital acquired a majority stake in Elha Laser in 2022 to propel its expansion.
The company, now led by Álvaro Romero as general director, was born with the objective of "democratizing laser hair removal," as Romero highlights, and that "in 2015 it was economically inaccessible for most of the population," something the company has contributed to changing.
