Damm will award the best beach bar tapa with 1,000 euros

Tapas by the beach is one of summer's great attractions, although it's not always easy to find good quality products in beach bars. To recognize the effort of restaurateurs, the Damm group, throughDamm Lemon, has launched for the first time a competition to find the best beach bar tapa in Catalonia. The winner will take home 1,000 euros and a weekend in Ibiza. Damm's objective is for the maximum possible number of establishments located on Catalan beaches to participate in the contest and also to involve consumers, who will vote for the best summer tapa through thewebsite created by the contest. The initiative is open to all establishments that haveDamm Lemon, the clear Mediterranean of the brewing group, and will be able to participate by presenting the most characteristic tapa from their menus. As the beach bars upload their proposals to the website, consumers will be able to rate them, but only after having tried them, soDamm Lemonwill launch a campaign aimed at customers to encourage them to visit the establishments and taste the tapas.Voting will be openthroughout the entire summer,until next August 28, and the people who participate in the ratings will enter a draw for a 250-euro voucher to spend at one of the beach bars participating in the action. The five most voted tapas will be announced on September 6, becoming the finalists of The best beach bar tapa.  Its creators will then move on to  thegrand finaleof the contest, which will take place onOctober 3 at the Antigua Fábrica Estrella Damm, in an event where the five finalists selected by popular vote will have to prepare their tapa live. It will then be when a professional jury chooses the best tapa and proclaims the winner of the first edition of the contest.
