The Department of Culture has launched the campaign Emociona't, which is aimed directly at citizens, so that they can enjoy, participate and get excited about everything that culture offers them throughout the territory. For this reason, it directly appeals to the public with slogans such as Visita una exposició (Visit an exhibition), Descobreix la nostra música (Discover our music), Vine al circ (Come to the circus), Vine al teatre (Come to the theater), Viu les nostres tradicions (Live our traditions), Descobreix el nostre passat (Discover our past), Vine a un concert (Come to a concert), Vibra amb la dansa (Vibrate with dance). It also includes the hashtags #comparteixcultura (share culture) and #regalaemocions (give emotions).
This initiative to support and promote culture and reactivate cultural consumption, aimed at all citizens, has the complicity of different agents in the sector and national facilities. Its dissemination will be multi-channel, with presence on television, cinemas, radio, print and digital media, social networks and outdoor spaces.
The proposal comes after a long period of pandemic, in which cultural consumption was reduced in all its forms, but at a time when there has been a recovery of the different sectors, and since last October 15, theaters, cinemas, auditoriums, archives, libraries, museums, civic facilities, bookstores, galleries and other cultural facilities, already offer 100% capacity, both outdoors and in enclosed spaces.
This campaign focuses part of its message on the importance of sharing culture, living it with those around us, sharing moments that only culture can generate, and even more so at a time of year when we gather again and reconnect, always following the safety guidelines against Covid-19. It is precisely this time of year when there is a significant increase in cultural consumption, both of live arts and books, music, museums, circus... In short, of all disciplines.
The proposal highlights the importance of sharing culture, of living it with those around us, of sharing moments that only culture can generateFor this reason, the Department of Culture also urges entities, associations, institutions, facilities, companies, artists, creators to join the campaign, to make it their own, to take advantage of the momentum that will be generated and thus encourage the public to enjoy, participate, and get excited about culture.
The Department of Culture reminds of the importance of using a mask, and reiterates that the adaptation and updating of security measures related to covid-19 continue to make it possible to enjoy culture this Christmas.
