The startup Cavli Wireless, a manufacturer of Internet of Things (IoT) cellular modules, has received the Esade Alumni & Banco Sabadell Award for Best Startup 2022. The technology developed by this startup combines IoT connectivity with data management in a single platform, which significantly reduces costs for the client. The company's headquarters are in California, and in Barcelona, where one of its co-founders lives, are the sales offices, on València street. It also has a presence in India, in the city of Kochi.

The award, granted by Esade Alumni and BStartup of Banco Sabadell, highlighted the global vision with which Cavli Wireless was born, as well as offering "an innovative technological solution that allows companies to have hardware, information storage in the cloud, and connectivity with telecommunications operators integrated into a single provider."

"Being recognized as the best startup of 2022 is a testament to the impact and globalization we are achieving," says Tarun Thomas George, co-founder of Cavli Wireless and an alumnus of Esade's Full Time MBA. In fact, thanks to this connection, the startup presented itself at Esade BAN, the network of business angels promoted by Esade Alumni, one of the pieces with which the business school fosters entrepreneurship. Through Esade BAN, Cavli Wireless attracted the interest of thirteen investors, who invested more than 400,000 euros in 2020.

In previous editions, the Esade Alumni & Banco Sabadell Award for Best Startup has been received by companies such as Wuaki.tv, Visualnet, Kantox, Wallapop, Red Points, Signaturit, Glovo, Exoticca, Psious, and Colvin. The award was created in 2013, the same year Banco Sabadell created BStartup, its specialized service for startups.
