Catalunya continues to lead in the capture of Next Generation funds at the state level. As of October, it has captured 8,527 million euros, maintaining its lead over Andalusia and Madrid, which occupy the second and third positions, with 7,412 and 7,385 million, respectively.

Of these more than 8,500 million captured, 6,772 have already been distributed, so the funds are being deployed "at a good pace," according to the Generalitat. The Catalan groups most benefited by the Next Generation are companies, with 51.9% of the total; local corporations (17.3%) and research and training centers (16.7%).

The arrival of Next Generation funds to Catalunya has occurred through four channels: the allocation that the State makes to the Generalitat through sectoral conferences, with 4,070 million; the calls published by the State under a competitive regime, with 3,078 million, to which 291 million from the digital kit calls are added; the State awards that have Catalunya as the place of execution, with 744 million, and the direct concessions from the State to Catalan entities, with an additional 344 million.

Within these 4,070 million allocated to the Generalitat in the sectoral conferences, 3,803 have already been received and, as of October 31, the Generalitat had mobilized 86.3% of these received resources, totaling 3,283 million.
