Christmas will once again fill Casa Seat, with a proposal starting on November 22 that this edition will go a step further and is presented to its visitors as an interactive experience. Converted into a train station as a starting point for a Christmas fantasy journey, the space will transport to a sweet universe thanks to Jordi Roca and his brand Rocambolesc, which reissues last year's collaboration with Magic Days.
The rooms and spaces of Casa Seat will be transformed into magical places, such as the Elves' Forest, the Magical North Pole, and the Magical Workshops Portal. For 45 days —from November 22 to January 5—, these magical settings will open their doors to offer experiences and workshops.
All of this, in an edition with more interaction: "This year is special. We have listened and learned from the more than 300,000 people who have enjoyed previous editions. Therefore, this time children will be able to immerse themselves in the magic: touch it, hear it, feel it, and even taste it," highlights Cristina Vall-Llosada, director of Casa Seat.
And it is that the sweetness of Rocambolesc and Jordi Roca will once again be the protagonists of the event. "We wanted to bring the creative and imaginative universe of Rocambolesc to this magical world," defends Jordi Roca. "With the team, we have worked to create a universe different from last year's, offering a new experience, designed to surprise both children and adults," he added, with a concept developed jointly between the pastry chef's team and Casa Seat.
This sweet universe will fill the space with flavor with cookie workshops and a selection of products in the restaurant. In addition, it will feature a pop-up store that will offer its Christmas products —including panettones and advent calendars—, along with its most iconic creations.
Christmas, inside and out
The Magic Days will not only be experienced inside Casa Seat. For the first time, they cross its walls and expand to Jardinets de Gràcia. In collaboration with the Associació Passeig de Gràcia, a 12-meter-high tree will become the protagonist of the space. In addition, the monumental tree will welcome the Gaudí Year, crowned with a replica of the Sagrada Família star measuring 2.5 meters. In addition, as in previous editions, the facade of Casa Seat will become an advent calendar. Designed by urban artist TVBoy, each day will reveal a character or place that celebrates Barcelona and its traditions, through what will be the city's largest calendar.
The Magic Days are preparing to premiere this new edition consolidated as one of the essential events of Christmas in Barcelona. To attend, a free ticket with prior reservation is required, which will be available in stages on four different dates. Those for November, in fact, are already available, and on November 17, tickets for December 1 to 14 will be offered. On November 24, tickets for December 15 to 28 will open, and on December 1, tickets to attend between December 29 and January 5 will be unlocked, for an event that wants to add magic to Barcelona's Christmas.
