BonÀrea invoices less, but earns more. The food group closed 2024 with revenues of 2,680 million euros, 2.5% less compared to 2,720 million euros a year ago. However, net profit has grown to 88.8 million euros, 9% more compared to 2023. For the company based in Guissona, the increase in profits is based on solid growth in supermarket sales and the optimization of its business model, without intermediaries.

BonÀrea establishments have registered sales of 1,236 million euros, almost 5% more than in the previous year. The human food area (not counting the feed line) has reached 1,530 million euros, 5.7% more than in 2023, while animal feed has invoiced 468 million euros, 4% more.

Currently, the company has 600 stores throughout Spain. Last year, it opened about forty new establishments in cities such as Sant Cugat, Logroño, and Zaragoza. This year it plans to open a similar number of stores. For this territorial expansion, the complex of more than 180 hectares that it is building in Épila (Aragon) will be key. In addition, it has a total of 66 operational gas stations, after incorporating five new ones last year in municipalities such as Caspe (Zaragoza) and Castellgalí (Barcelona).

Throughout 2024, executed investments totaled more than 117 million euros. If the last six years are taken into account, the figure amounts to 700 million euros, with a focus on operational improvement and territorial expansion. BonÀrea's workforce consists of about 6,400 workers, in addition to having a network of 4,500 farmers and ranchers.
