A little air begins to blow on her balcony overlooking the entire neighborhood. The swifts take their last flights of the day, hyperactive, as if they had something to celebrate. She sees that no one has gone on vacation yet. The surfers are having their romantic dinner of the week. In the apartment next door, the man who always wears the same red plaid pajamas reads the newspaper. The smell of a nearby barbecue reaches her, but she can't identify which terrace it's coming from. The building that evicted all its neighbors has new tenants, and none of them have put up curtains. Airplanes continue to land constantly. Since the couple who argued so much is no longer there, that's the only thing heard at those hours. She greets the girl she always sees at the gym and signals to her to show her that she left the outside light on. When she gets distracted, mosquitoes are riddling her leg.
