Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres of the French Republic, Cavaliere dell'Ordine della Stella d'Italia, and Gold Medal of Merit of Serbia, she has been an editor, publications advisor, and literary critic for the main Spanish newspapers and magazines. She is currently part of various editorial boards of cultural magazines, such as Revista de Libros, Sibila, and La Alegría de los Naufragios. Organizer of numerous cycles and meetings both in universities and in various cultural institutions, curator of anthological exhibitions on great universal writers (for example, Nobel Prize in Literature Isaac Bashevis Singer, the Frenchman Jules Verne, or G.T. di Lampedusa), she has also translated authors such as Leonardo Sciascia, Attilio Bertolucci, Francis Ponge, Valerio Magrelli, and Philippe Jaccottet.
