"Catalunya is a country open to all cultures and trends, culture is a bet on the future," defends the president of the Galeries d'Art de Catalunya association, Mònica Ramon. "Art is a window open to other worlds and times. And we have it closer than we think," she remarks. For his part, the president of Art Barcelona, Àlex Nogueras, points out that galleries are spaces "where culture can be experienced in situ."
Modern, contemporary, national and international art in the same neighborhood where one lives, in the same city... "Safe spaces that allow us to enjoy a moment of reflection, pleasure, learning, and transformation," concludes Nogueras.
