Amazon wants to contribute to the preparation of tomorrow's workers. Jeffrey Bezos' giant has reached a collaboration agreement with the Departament d'Educació de la Generalitat to promote Dual Vocational Training studies and labor insertion.
To this end, they have developed two joint initiatives: the creation of a group for the Higher Level Training Cycle in Mechatronics in bilingual mode at the Institut Escola del Treball; and the establishment of a class with interns for the Programa de Formació i Inserció d'Auxiliar for product commercialization and logistics at the Institut de Constantí, with the aim of providing the necessary support for their reincorporation into the educational system.
In the first case, once the qualification is obtained, the students will have the possibility of being able to stay one more year in the company's logistics centers with a professional practice contract, thus being able to culminate their training in the field of mechatronics. In addition, and during that contract year, Amazon will continue to give them the opportunity to develop by offering them several additional training courses.
Students who complete this FP will be able to access some of the vacancies that may arise in rehabilitation technician (RME) or maintenance positions in one of Amazon Spain's logistics centers starting in June 2025.
In the second agreement, the objective of the teaching plan is to show a general vision of the logistics world through two activities. On the one hand, Amazon will offer training pills at the Institut de Constantí following the co-education learning model. Likewise, the logistics station will host interns from the Programa de Formació i Inserció, offering a first contact with the working world.

These courses offer complete professional training, include 180 hours of company internships and are aimed at supporting PFI logistics and commerce students. As of February 2023, three PFI students from Constantí will complete their internships at the aforementioned Amazon logistics station.
Since 2018, more than 1,500 people hired by the company are under 28 years old, and the average age of an Amazon employee in our country is 34 years old.

Dual Vocational Training (FP Dual) is a modality of Vocational Training that is carried out in alternation between the educational center and the company. Dual FP allows the student to receive training in the educational center and, at the same time, put into practice what they have learned and acquire skills in a workplace.
