To cover with a new service needs linked to entrepreneurship in two directions: towards the startup and towards investors. This is the dual objective of Startup in a Box, launched by the consultancy Adlanter, which focuses both on responding to the needs of startups in terms of financial advice, and on those of investors, to whom it offers "universality of criteria and access to startup data in a homogeneous and clear way," as explained by the head of Adlanter's emerging companies segment, Daniel Gil.
After the launch of the new comprehensive service, Adlanter aims to attract one startup per month, and reach fifteen or twenty annually, in a context where about 500 startups are created in Spain annually: "We are projecting ourselves into 4.5% of the market."
To offer this advisory service, Adlanter proposes to do so through agreements with startups lasting several years and with a progressive pricing plan that adapts to the growth phases of the emerging company. "At the beginning we will have a minimal margin, close to zero, and the idea is to progress with them in the business," highlights Gil.
In this context, they propose to startups to work three years ahead —"for a startup it is very difficult to look beyond three years"—, through a growth plan. "The margin comes in the second or third year", also in the event that the entrepreneurial project does not end up taking off: "It can also be a profitable business with the liquidation of the investment."
Thus, the consultancy foresees that the launch of Startup in a Box will not affect 2025 turnover, which Adlanter expects to be around 30 million euros, above the 23.2 million it invoiced in 2024. "In two or three years it will have a lot of relevance in terms of numbers," predicts Gil.
Adlanter, which has joined Tech Barcelona to bring this new service closer to the city's entrepreneurial landscape, wants to enter this field hand in hand with venture capital. "It is the one that best knows how to assess whether a startup has chances of success," highlights Gil about the entrepreneurship ecosystem, which has proven its "great growth potential" in a Catalan capital positioned as a hub for startups.
