Barcelona, Catalonia and the world: La Rambla

The location that captures views from and of Barcelona, Catalonia and all over the world. It is a boulevard which separates the earliest walled area of Barcelona from El Raval, and it runs from the Port to Plaça de Catalunya. Its urbanisation started in the mid-18th century, when it was just a pathway and an occasional stream with the walls built by King Jaume on one side and convents on the other.
